The Hong Kong International Film Festival is Asia’s longest-running international film festival. Screening over 200 titles from more than 50 countries, HKIFF features world and international premieres of Hong Kong and Asian films, as well as Asian premieres of international films.

Cheung Chau Bun Festival
April 27 – May 6
Tonnes of buns, papier-mâché effigies, lion dancers and tall tales of ancient evil spirits all converge on the island of Cheung Chau to create one of the world’s quirkiest local festivals. The festival has also been officially inscribed on the national list of intangible cultural heritage.
