Hong Kong Set for a Bright Future
Unveiling her fifth annual Policy Address titled "Building a Bright Future Together," the Chief Executive, Mrs. Carrie Lam, set out her plan for the future of the city.  

Under the 14th Five-Year Plan, the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), and the Plan for Comprehensive Deepening Reform and Opening Up of the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Co-operation Zone, enterprises and professional services providers in Hong Kong are presented with unlimited opportunities, Mrs. Lam said.

Business Environment Report Published
Hong Kong is a place with unique advantages and unlimited opportunities, according to the  Report on Hong Kong's Business Environment, released by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government on September 27.

The report noted that since the implementation of the National Security Law, Hong Kong's financial market has remained stable.

Startups in Hong Kong Reach Record High
According to the latest results of annual surveys, the number of business operations in Hong Kong with parent companies overseas or in Mainland China has risen to 9,049 and the number of start-ups in Hong Kong has increased to 3,755 in 2021, both reaching record highs. The historic high figures demonstrate fully that Hong Kong's business environment remains favorable, which makes Hong Kong an ideal place for companies to set up or expand their businesses.
