Victories of Hong Kong athletes at Olympic Games

The Hong Kong, China team has so far won four medals (two golds and two bronzes) at the 2024 Paris Olympics Games. Vivian Kong, Cheung Ka-long and Siobhan Bernadette Haughey are the star athletes bringing home the honor in fencing and swimming.

Vivian Kong won Hong Kong, China’s first medal at the Paris Olympics, striking gold in the Women's Épée Individual event on July 27 (Paris time). She defeated France’s Auriane Mallo-Breton 13:12 in the final and won her first Olympic medal.

Cheung Ka-long successfully defended his Men's Foil crown at the Paris Olympics on July 29 (Paris time). He scored a 15:14 victory over Italian fencer Filippo Macchi in the final, becoming the first Hong Kong, China athlete to win back-to-back Olympic titles succeeding his victory at the Tokyo Games.

Siobhan Bernadette Haughey claimed two bronze medals in the Women's 200m Freestyle in 1:54.55 and 100m Freestyle in 52.33 on July 29 and 31 (Paris time). They are her third and fourth Olympic medals, following the two silvers she won at the Tokyo Games.
