More than 300 distinguished guests, consuls general, senior government officials and business leaders celebrated the Year of the Rabbit at the Spring Reception hosted by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office at the Legion of Honor Museum, San Francisco on February 7, 2011.

At the Spring Reception in Los Angeles on February 17, 2011, more than 150 guests attended.

In his welcome remarks, Mr. Jeff Leung, Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, San Francisco pointed out the close ties between Hong Kong and the United States as well as the connection between California and Hong Kong.

Hong Kong is ranked the world’s freest economy for the 17th consecutive year in the 2011 Index of Economic Freedom, jointly published by The Heritage Foundation and The Wall Street Journal.
