Hong Kong – Ideal place for education

Three Hong Kong universities are ranked in the world's top 60 by the Times Higher Education Supplement 2007. They are the University of Hong Kong (HKU), raised to 18th from 33rd in 2006, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), up to 38th from 50th, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) ranked 53rd, up five places from 58th in 2006.

In addition, Hong Kong universities also host Asia’s best executive business management programs and research projects. As reported in the Financial Times, October 2007, the Executive MBA program offered by HKUST and CUHK were ranked 1st and 15th respectively. MBA offered by HKUST, HKU and CUHK were ranked 20th, 37th and 91st respectively in Top 100 MBA 2007 (Economist Intelligence Unit); CUHK’s MBA ranked first in East Asia in 2004 Asia’s Best MBA Schools (Asia Inc).
