The HKSAR 10th Anniversary – Trivia Question Contest in San Francisco received overwhelming responses and the lucky Grand Prize winner is Mr. Tom Chan from the Bay Area.
Ms Doris Cheung, Director of the Hong Kong Economic
and Trade Office in San Francisco congratulated Mr. Chan who won two round-trip tickets from San Francisco to Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific Airways and three nights' accommodation in Hong Kong, courtesy of the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

A series of celebration receptions have been hosted by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in San Francisco to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The receptions ended on a high note with a special "Hong Kong Purse" horse race at the Emerald Downs Race Course in Seattle, Washington.

San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom has declared July 1, 2007 as "Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Day".
The declaration was made on June 28 at a reception hosted by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in San Francisco to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region.
Mayor Newsom stated that in the past 10 years, the HKSAR had consolidated its position as the world's leading financial, trade and shipping centre.
